This is close to the frame that I shot for work, but for copyright reasons here's another from my outtakes.
A woman sleeps under a defaced poster with a picture of Thailand's Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva in the anti-government encampment on Monday May 10, 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand. Thailand's prime minister pleaded Sunday for an end to two months of street protests paralyzing part of the capital and an acceptance of his reconciliation plan that has been stalled by fresh violence. A very new reader to your blog who has linked yours to hers.
Just to further add, Thai's finds it rude to actually point one's feet onto anything, that is why they sit with their legs tucked in.
Love how you write after life and how work has allowed you to travel and see things, never seen before. (:
HI there! hey thanks for your comments.
Yeah it was also taken with that in mind. I understand Thai culture very well, as ive spent most of my childhood there, when i was with the National sailing team and our coach was thai and we had many sailing exchange programs there. I also speak fluent thai and love the food. so i'm glad we have something in common to start with!
Thanks for the encouragement and i will make time to visit your blog in a bit!
God Bless,
Maye-E
