Crowded new year

I've seen heaps of pictures from times like this but i've never gone to shoot it. It's amazing. Thousands of people go to the temple and wait to stick insence sticks into and urn, which is believed to be auspicious among Chinese Buddhist people. I had to work on the eve of Chinese New Year this year so i thought that this year, i'd do something i've never shot before. It made for some energetic pictures plus my sinuses got cleared from all that heat and ash. Ahhh i love these 30-seconds-of-madness-after-an-hour-of-waiting type of assignments.
